I've always loved beauty — the ritual of it, the confidence it gives you, the way a perfect set of lashes can completely change how you carry yourself into a room. But for years, I struggled to find the right artists near me.
Every time I moved to a new city, it was the same exhausting loop: follow hashtags, scroll endlessly through Instagram, send cold DMs to artists who might not even be accepting clients, get ghosted, book someone questionable, and start over. For something as personal as beauty services, it felt unnecessarily difficult.
I built Zulaa because I knew other people felt the same frustration — and because I knew the artists themselves deserved better too. Talented lash techs and nail artists building real clientele deserve more than the algorithm lottery. They deserve a platform that puts them in front of the right clients.
