Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Zulaa ("Zulaa," "we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of the Zulaa platform, available at zulaa.io and any associated applications or services.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the platform. Continued use of Zulaa following any modification constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

Zulaa is an online directory and discovery platform that connects clients with local beauty professionals, including lash technicians, nail artists, permanent makeup artists, hair stylists, and medical spa providers.

Zulaa provides the technology infrastructure for discovery and connection. We are not a party to any service agreement, appointment, or transaction between clients and beauty professionals. All bookings, payments, and services occur directly between the client and the provider.

To access certain features you must create an account. You agree to:

• –Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• –Maintain the security of your password and accept responsibility for all activity under your account.
• –Notify us immediately at legal@zulaa.io if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
• –Not create multiple accounts for the same individual or business without prior written permission.
• –Not transfer or sell access to your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false information, violate these Terms, or are used for any unauthorized or unlawful purpose.

If you register as a beauty professional on Zulaa, you represent and warrant that:

• –You are legally authorized to perform the services you list on your profile.
• –All licenses, certifications, and permits required by applicable law to offer your services are current and valid.
• –The information you provide on your profile — including your bio, service areas, categories, and links — is accurate and not misleading.
• –Portfolio photos you upload are either your original work or you have obtained all necessary rights and permissions to display them.
• –You will keep your profile information current and promptly update any information that changes.

Artists are solely responsible for the services they provide to clients. Zulaa does not endorse, guarantee, or warrant the quality, safety, or legality of any services offered by artists listed on the platform.

You agree not to use the Zulaa platform to:

• –Post false, misleading, defamatory, or fraudulent content.
• –Impersonate another person, business, or entity.
• –Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any other harmful code.
• –Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the platform without our express written permission.
• –Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features of the platform.
• –Use the platform to send unsolicited commercial messages (spam).
• –Post content that infringes any intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party.
• –Engage in any conduct that is unlawful, harassing, abusive, threatening, or discriminatory.
• –Claim a profile for a business that you do not own or have authority to represent.

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these rules and to terminate accounts engaged in prohibited conduct, without prior notice.

Zulaa may create listings for beauty businesses sourced from publicly available data (including Google Places) to help clients discover local providers. These "unclaimed profiles" are clearly labeled as such. We make a good-faith effort to ensure the accuracy of this information but make no warranties regarding its completeness or currency.

If you are a business owner and believe your business has been listed in error, or you wish to have your listing removed, you may request removal directly from the profile page or by contacting us at legal@zulaa.io. We will process removal requests within a reasonable timeframe.

Alternatively, you may claim your profile free of charge to take ownership and control of the listing.

The Zulaa name, logo, platform design, and original content created by Zulaa are owned by Zulaa and protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable intellectual property laws.

By submitting content to Zulaa (including profile information, photos, and text), you grant Zulaa a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and distribute that content on the platform and in promotional materials related to the platform.

You retain ownership of content you submit. You represent and warrant that you have all rights necessary to grant this license.

THE ZULAA PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any content on the platform.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ZULAA AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, DATA LOSS, OR LOSS OF GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE PLATFORM.

IN NO EVENT SHALL ZULAA'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE PLATFORM EXCEED THE GREATER OF ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100) OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID ZULAA IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Zulaa and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: (a) your use of the platform; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any rights of another party; or (d) any content you submit to the platform.

You may stop using Zulaa and delete your account at any time from your dashboard. Upon account deletion, your profile will no longer be visible on the platform.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the platform at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law. Termination does not relieve you of any obligations incurred prior to termination.

Sections 7 (Intellectual Property), 8 (Disclaimers), 9 (Limitation of Liability), 10 (Indemnification), and 12 (Governing Law) survive termination of these Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the platform shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Wayne County, Michigan, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
